Light Walker Theatrical is a live event services company from Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 2016, the company was formed by two freelance technicians hoping to combine their skills to become more than the sum of their parts. With years of experience between them in musicals, concerts, dance, showcases and festivals, the crew at Light Walker is able to adapt and manage the technical needs required to present live entertainment. The crew specializes in theatrical lighting, audio and rigging, with leaders and a roster of capable technicians on call to adapt to shows of any size or theatrical complexity. Light Walker prides itself on the reputation and workmanship of its technicians, and an appreciation of not only the skills required, but the history behind theatrical tradition. It's when these elements come together that unforgettable shows can take flight, and Light Walker strives to be the indispensable glue to your next live endeavor.
Justyn has been in love with theater from a young age. It all started with his first live performance, The Wizard of Oz staring Mickey Rooney as the Wizard, and its been nothing but the theater from then on. He was a performer from the early age of six up until 16 when he decided to venture into the backstage world that is Technical Theater. Justyn loves working backstage and always enjoys learning new skills for his craft. After seeing the ambition of his supervisors at Phoenix Theatre and Tempe Center for the Arts, Justyn decided to form Light Walker Theatrical with his friend Colin so that he could have the freedom to create the type of art and life style that fit him the best.
Colin is a creative technician and designer with a diverse background in audio production, music, projection and video design, graphic design and film. After attending Paradise Valley Community College to earn two AAS degrees in Audio Production Technologies and Music Business, Colin is currently a student in the interdisciplinary Digital Culture program at Arizona State University, specializing in music. As an audio engineer Colin specializes in jazz, classical and world music.
Co-founding Light Walker has been a dream for Colin because it allows him to constantly push the boundaries of his fields of expertise and work with his friend Justyn to help design, produce and run the best shows he can hope for.
